About us
Founder Sami opened the very first location in 1980, with a simple mission: serve the best Mediterranean cuisine - fresh, natural, and affordable food made the right way. Over the years, the brand grew to three locations throughout the Rochester area, earning loyal guests and multiple local awards along the way. Today, Sami exclusively operates the Victor location, which opened just this past year after he sold the other two restaurants. The Victor restaurant was designed to bring things back to how they were meant to be.
The original founder is back in the kitchen as the lead chef, bringing the same standards, techniques, and hands-on approach that built the brand in the first place. This restaurant is owner-operated and employee-owned, with a deep focus on doing things the right way. Every ingredient is organic and carefully prepared, from beans soaked overnight to dishes made fresh daily.
Our famous hummus stands out because of the quality of ingredients and the time put into making it properly. It's a reflection of our philosophy: simple food, done exceptionally well. Our menu features homemade pastas, pita sandwiches, vibrant salads, and authentic specialties. We also offer organic New York wines, microbrewery beers, and a variety of desserts.
